The Test

At Road Masters we don’t build the driving test up to be a big event, rather we build up your confidence and ability so that when you’re ready to take the test you’ll be looking forward to it… and your driving independence!

Booking

You must have passed your theory test before the test can be booked. The Practical Driving Test is booked via us if you go for a 40 or 20 hour course. We will arrange a suitable time and date to your liking and pay for it on your behalf. This saves you the fee of £56.50. If you require another attempt we can arrange a re-test for you, the DSA fee is applicable.

Mock first

By the time you are ready to take your first test (and only test if we have our way!) you will have done several mock driving tests with your instructor on actual driving test routes. This is how we can identify any weaker areas and work on them before the real thing – it will also let you know what to expect on the day! You will be given copies of your mock results.

On the test day

Your instructor will meet you one hour before the start time.

You must bring:
Both parts of your driving licence card and paper
Theory Pass Certificate
DSA invitation letter (sent to you upon booking)

Important

The examiners require at least 3 working days notice if a test date is to be rescheduled without a loss of the fee.
